Melissa is a Western alum who recently returned to Bellingham after 16 years in New York City, where she worked with The Moth and BAM and ran two nonprofit theatre companies, ARTBARN and Other Shore. Her work has always centered on equity, access, and the power of personal storytelling. She's thrilled to be back in the beautiful PNW supporting Western Success Scholars and the Basic Needs Hub.
