Hi! My name is Karla (she/her), I'm one of the Peer Mentors for WSS, I've been part of our program for three years and now that I've got the opportunity to become a peer navigator I'm so excited to help create a space where we can find support, and create a great community. I'm also so happy to be able to represent my community in this position and help communities like mine who've had to overcome extra challenges, to get access to the resources and support we need to succeed in college and beyond. Now a little bit about myself, I'm a first gen student originally from Mexico, my first language is Spanish and I'm currently working towards getting. my degree in Mathematics, some of my favorite things to do outside of school and work is dance, cook and watch shows.
