Art Display in the VU 7th Floor (by KUGS)

Throughout May
Come see artwork by various students in Western Success Scholars that show themes of healing, resilience, and change, and understand some foster youth statistics about the inequities of educational access for foster youth.

Donation Drive to Benefit Skookum Kids

Throughout May
These items will be shared with the organization Skookum Kids for care packages. Gently used or new items will be accepted. Suggested items are backpacks/duffle bags, shoes, small notebooks, stickers, markers, art supplies, pencils, pens, and water bottles.

Donation boxes are located in the following offices

  •  College of Business (Parks Hall 104)
  •  Tutoring Center (Wilson Library 280)
  •  Career Services Center (Old Main 280)
  •  Academic Advising and Student Achievement Center (Old Main 387)
  •  Fairhaven College Office (FA 348)

Bake Sale

Wednesday, May 28th
Noon-3pm VU 6th Floor
Proceeds will support Western Success Scholars

Clothing Swap and Resource Fair

Friday, June 6th
11am – 2pm Flag Plaza by the Rec Center
Stop by the resource fair to learn about campus and community resources to support student basic needs. A clothing swap organized by the Basic Needs Hub will also be present.

All of these events are intended for all participants, including those with visible or non-apparent disabilities.
