Success Scholar Program Support

The WSS program provides a wonderful opportunity and a supportive network for students at WWU. Services provided in this program include:

Program Manager who provides holistic support services and success coaching
Peer Navigators to help navigate the academic culture and student life
Life Skills and Academic Workshops
Student-led social events and networking opportunities for Western Success Scholars throughout the year
Referrals to on and off-campus services related to academic, financial, or personal needs
Designated Support Staff in Financial Aid to assist throughout the financial aid process. Also assess eligibility for the Passport to Careers Scholarship, which can be used toward unmet needs
Career exploration and development
WWU Success Scholars garden
Quarterly Care Packages
Student Support Emergency Funds when an unforeseen expense threatens to derail your plans.
Residence Hall Campus Welcome Starter Kits
